Last night, we had a themed social: Dress like your roommate! Look forward to pictures of me looking eerily wholesome, wearing Julia's purple "granny" sweater, braided pigtails, and a lot less jewelry. And obviously there are pictures of cute blond Julia looking ridiculously bad ass while wearing my headband, my tie dye shirt, my hemp choker, my iconic door knocker earrings, my black eyeliner... Oh yeah, and drawn on replicates of my piercings and tattoos. (The tattoo thing was weiiiiird, since they're such a part of me it was unsettling to see them on someone else.)
Today we're working on the PowerPoint presentations for our final projects and going out into the field. So far, I haven't collected any usable data. I did have some dogs and cows walk through my traps, but they're not quite my target demographic. I'm going to head out after lunch, reset the traps, and hopefully (cross your fingers) find some tracks belonging to undomesticated mammals.
